I want to update the email linked to my investments, how can I do this?

The email change/update process involves three steps:


1. Creating the request for email change from your Scripbox account

2. Updating the new email in the existing folios

3. Updating the new email  in the Scripbox records


Steps to raise the email change request via the app:


a. Login into your Scripbox account

b. Click on Profile (towards the right-hand side corner on the top of the home page)


c. Click on the investor name - Under Investments - Click on Scripbox - Click on Change under Email id


d. Edit the email id and Click on Update Changes


Post which it will direct you to the MF central page, where you can update the email id via online. The details will be updated in the folios within 1 working day.


If the email id change request fails, then you are required to undergo an offline process. 


For updating the new contact number at the folios (10-13 working days) (Scanned Copies):

a. Self-signed email id change request (same will be sent by Scripbox

b. Self-signed PAN card copy.


Once we receive the documents, the new email id will updated across all the folios. 


For updating the new email id in your Scripbox account (1 working day): 


Once the new email id is updated in all the folios, the new email id will be updated in the Scripbox records.


If we need any additional documents, we shall let you know accordingly. The change of email id usually takes 2 weeks from the time we have received the complete set of documents.
