What is a Switch transaction? Why does it only occur during review of my external funds?

When reviewing your investments outside of Scripbox, we have a convenient and hassle-free process for handling fund exits. To simplify the procedure, we temporarily switch from an equity fund to a liquid fund of the same mutual fund company. This enables us to track the transaction and provide you with regular updates on its status. Moreover, it reduces paperwork for you. Once the amount is successfully transferred to the liquid fund, we proceed with the transaction to reinvest in the recommended funds for your portfolio. This approach also ensures that debits are not initiated when funds have not yet reached your bank account, preventing unnecessary charges.
